What is WeatherBloc Gypsum Board?

WeatherBloc Gypsum Board is a specialized gypsum board designed for applications where resistance to water and moisture is important. It is particularly suited to damp environments and external ceiling applications where conventional interior gypsum boards may not be appropriate.

 

The board is available in both plain and ventilated versions, allowing it to be selected according to the requirements of the installation.

The required quantity should be calculated according to the total ceiling area, while allowing for cutting, joints and installation requirements.

WeatherBloc is installed as part of a suitable ceiling system using appropriate framing and fixing components. For external ceiling applications, the supporting structure and hanging system need to be selected to provide adequate support for the finished ceiling.
