The finest regular density product is Thickpanel. Because of its excellent physical qualities, Thickpanel is ideal for a wide range of manufacturing, trade, and construction applications.

Because of its homogeneous fine texture, strong bonding strength, and inherent stability, Thickpanel enables for precise and easy machining of the panel face and edges, opening up unlimited design and finished product possibilities.

Joinery, lacquered, veneered, or film faced furniture, mouldings, architraves, doors, shelving, wall linings and partitions, and trophies are all examples of interior applications for thickpanel.

Thickpanel should only be used in the interior and should not be subjected to damp or high humidity.

STANDARD PRODUCTS

Thickpanel comes in a range of standard thicknesses ranging from 7.5mm to 30mm. 2440mm x 1220mm, 2440mm x 1830mm, and 3660mm x 1830mm are the common panel sizes. MDF panels that meet E1 (eight milligrammes per kilogramme) when tested according to EN 120:2004 and (0.5 to 1.5 milligrammes per litre) when tested according to JISA5905:2004 are also available.

STORING AND HANDLING MERBOK THICKPANELS

Thickpanel should be stored in a dry, well-ventilated location undercover. Sheets should be stored flat with support bearers that are evenly spaced at 600mm intervals and are uniformly and vertically aligned. All packing materials should be properly disposed of.
